a raised boardwalk keeps most pedestrian traffic off the rootzones and above the ground-dwelling critters

the house sits at the far end of the site with generous grass meadows and areas set aside for ecology and living walls

looking back there is a small home-office in the woodland with parking and services to the rear. beyond is a denser ecological zone

the site layout shows a careful arrangement on the site to give prominance to the trees and ecological zones

“it’s great to see a developer putting the interests of resident ecology at the top of the list of site benefits”
